APPLYING FOR A PLACE

Children can be admitted into our nursery the September following their third birthday. The school office manages admissions into the nursery while admissions into reception and the school are managed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. For details click here.

There is always the possibility that there are more applications for places than are available. When this occurs the following criteria will be used to decide how places will be allocated:-

NURSERY CLASSES ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

If there are more applications than there are places available, we will use the following criteria, in priority order, for deciding which applications to accept.

Priority 1 Children who are or were in the care of a local authority. Please see note 1.

Priority 2 Children who have a sibling (brother or sister) at the school when they are due to start school. Please see note 2.

Priority 3 Children who live closest to the school, measured in kilometres in a straight line (as the crow flies).
