Aboriginal Art in Owl Class

In Owl Class this week we researched Aboriginal Art in our computing lesson.  We looked at different designs and chose one we would like to recreate.

Then we sketched the design onto a piece of paper, before we used cotton buds to paint over it.

Here you can see some examples of the pupils’ work.

Tobi Od exclaimed: “I enjoyed using a cotton bud to create aboriginal art because it was a different tool to use for painting.”

“This was a fun lesson, where we could have a try at creating our own aboriginal art.” Leon said.

Miss Lipman quoted, “Aboriginal art is very effective to look at.  The children tried very hard to make their own pieces look similar to the pictures they found”
